The State of Queensland has official emblems, as prescribed in the Emblems of Queensland Act 2005.(pdf only)
In April 2001, the Queensland Government adopted a corporate identification symbol for Government business. The Crest or Coat of Arms remains in use for formal, ceremonial and ministerial applications. State emblems include:
