    Deputy Director-General, Pat Vidgen

    As Deputy Director-General, Governance, Pat Vidgen is responsible for leading the delivery of executive and corporate support services for the Premier and other departments.

    Since joining the department in 1990, Pat has held a variety of senior positions in the areas of Constitutional and Administrative Law Services, Security Planning and Coordination and State Affairs.

    Pat has also held the appointment as the Clerk of the Executive Council of Queensland since 1997.

    He has represented the Queensland Government on a range of boards and committees, including, among others:

    • South Bank Corporation
    • Queensland Events Corporation
    • Australian Honours Council
    • Australian Bravery Council
    • the National Counter-Terrorism Committee.

    Pat completed a Bachelor of Business – Public Administration at the Queensland University of Technology in 1989.
