2009 Premier of Queensland's Export Awards
The Premier of Queensland's Export Awards are our state's highest recognition of export achievement. They encourage all exporters to strive for success in world markets.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Premier of Queensland's Export Awards.
How to apply
The awards are open to all Queensland exporters. To make a nomination before 31 July 2009:
Finalists and winners will be announced at the presentation ceremony on 21 October 2009, in the Great Hall at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Winners of the Queensland Export Awards will then progress as national finalists to the Australian Export awards. The national awards gala dinner will be held in Melbourne in December 2009.
About the awards
The Premier of Queensland's Export Awards:
- recognise Queensland companies' excellence in the export of goods and services to the international marketplace
- acknowledge the important contribution Queensland export businesses make to the local and national economy through job creation and increased prosperity in the community
- provide the opportunity to publicly recognise the talent and innovative spirit of Queensland's leading exporters.

Export Week - 19 to 23 October 2009
Export Week is one of Queensland's key annual events, when Trade Queensland presents a number of seminars and events to promote export to Queensland businesses.
This year's Export Week will take place from 19 to 23 October 2009.
