2009 Premier's Awards for Excellence in Public Service Delivery
The Premier's Awards for Excellence in Public Service Delivery recognise excellence, best practice and improvements in public service delivery across five categories aligned to the Toward Q2: Tomorrow's Queensland ambitions:

- Green - protecting our lifestyle and environment
- Smart - delivering world-class education and training
- Healthy - making Queenslanders Australia's healthiest people
- Fair - supporting safe and caring communities.
2009 Award winners
The winners of the 2009 Premier's Awards for Excellence in Public Service Delivery were announced on Thursday 29 October 2009.
An overall Premier's Award for Excellence was awarded to Tourism Queensland for its outstanding achievement and significant commitment to the Toward Q2 ambitions through The Best Job in the World Campaign.
The remaining finalists in this year's awards identified an impressive list of quality programs and initiatives across government.
