2009 Reconciliation Awards for Business

The Reconciliation Awards for Business recognise individuals, businesses and community organisations who are taking positive steps in advancing reconciliation in Queensland.

The awards began in 2003, and a variety of Queensland organisations have been recognised for their important role in promoting reconciliation.

Award categories

The awards offer a total of $25,000 in prize money and recognition across five categories:

• Emerging Business
• Established Business
• Community Organisation
• Partnerships
• Premier's Reconciliation Award

The judging panels for the awards are made up of industry and community representatives from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous backgrounds.
