The Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet (the department) is collecting the personal information contained in your registration form and curriculum vitae in order to include your details on the Queensland Register of Nominees to Government Bodies (the Register). The department maintains this Register in accordance with the principles of the Information Privacy Act 2009, in order to provide Queensland Government (government) agencies with suitable nominees for vacancies that arise on government boards or committees.
Your personal information will be held securely and will be used by authorised staff of the department for purposes related to maintaining the Register and, as appropriate, providing your details to government agencies in order that you may be considered for appointment to government boards or committees.
In addition to this, if you indicate on your registration form that you would like to receive information on other government services and events and/or that you would like to be considered for appointment to non-government boards or committees, your information may be provided to government and/or non-government agencies for this purpose.
Your information will not be given to any other person or agency by the department unless you have given us your consent or the department is required or permitted by law.
If you wish to be removed from the Register, please contact the department to request removal. The department will notify you once you have been removed.
