9.1 Questions without notice

At 10.30 am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, questions may be put to a Minister without notice relating to:

  1. public affairs with which the Minister is officially connected;
  2. proceedings pending in the Legislative Assembly; or
  3. any matter of administration for which the Minister is responsible.

This period, known as Question Time, concludes at 11.30 am. Under existing Sessional Orders the time limit for a Minister's answer is three minutes.
