Privacy Plan for ministerial officers

The Queensland Government requires that personal information held by Queensland Government agencies and ministerial officers be responsibly and transparently collected and managed in accordance with 11 Information Privacy Principles (IPPs).

Summary

The plan informs Ministerial Officers of their privacy obligations and responsibilities. These details are contained in Information Standard 42 (IS42), Information Privacy and associated guidelines. The plan also includes active steps ministerial officers are required to take towards successfully managing and complying with relevant privacy issues.
