Baby you've come a long way

Registrar-General Helen Lucas presented Jye's Q150 certificate to proud parents Stacey and Scott Leenders and big brother Cody in early February.

The Registry of Births, Death and Marriages has introduced commemorative birth and wedding certificates to celebrate Queensland's 150 years of separation from New South Wales.

Q150 is an important milestone in Queensland's history and the commemorative certificates provide a unique opportunity for Queenslanders to put a special stamp on their own important milestones.

To mark your special occasion, you can order commemorative birth and marriage certificates, each featuring unique Q150 imagery.

Commemorative certificates cost $46. For details on how to order a certificate, visit www.justice.qld.gov.au/bdm.htm (external link) or call 1300 366 430.
