Crown Law's three new deputies
Crown Law has filled the final three positions of its Executive Management Group with the permanent appointment of three Deputy Crown Solicitors.
- Nerida Cooley - Deputy Crown Solicitor of the Litigation Branch
- Helen Freemantle - Deputy Crown Solicitor of the Commercial and Infrastructure Branch
- Nicholas Inglis - Deputy Crown Solicitor of the Government Insurance Branch.
Nerida Cooley is a specialist in native title and resources law. She originally joined Crown Law in 1995. Nerida worked in the private sector from 1997 to 2000 and was Director of Legal in the Native Title Services at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet in 2001. She returned to Crown Law in 2002.
Helen Freemantle joined Crown Law in 1996. She worked in the Commercial and Securities Group for two years and in various State Government departments including Queensland Health and the then Department of Natural Resources. Helen re-joined Crown Law at the end of 2002, leading one of the commercial teams, which became the Commercial and Corporate Governance Team.
Nicholas Inglis is a specialist in personal injury litigation, complex civil litigation, dispute resolution, risk management and public liability. He has acted on behalf of the State in a broad range of complex legal matters. Prior to joining Crown Law in 1997, Nicholas worked in the private sector in the areas of personal injuries law, civil litigation and family law.

- Senior Deputy Crown Solicitors Tony Keyes and Robyn Martin
- Deputy Crown Solicitor Robert Campbell
- Crown Counsel Steve Marton.
