Statement of Affairs
The Department of the Premier and Cabinet's Statement of Affairs 2007-2008 is a means by which people can access information contained in the department's 2007-2008 Annual Report.
It includes information about the structure, function, policies and procedures of the department. It also outlines how to access or amend information held by the department under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 1992.
Summary
Freedom of information is an integral part of the openness, transparency and accountability of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. The Freedom of Information Act 1992 (Qld) requires a Statement of the Affairs of the department to be published annually.
The department's Statement of Affairs includes information to help members of the community access information, documents and records held by the department.
The department has a wide range of documents including:
- policies and procedures
- publications such as brochures, reports and videos
- departmental records such as briefing notes, correspondence, meeting minutes, personnel files, contracts and agreements.
