Meet our people
I am originally from a small city near Xian in western China (the home of the famous terracotta warriors), but I am now an Australian citizen, a Queenslander. I arrived in Australia in 2001 to take up my graduate diploma in accounting at Macquarie University, and applied for residency under the skilled migrant category.
I always wanted to be involved in work that made a difference in the lives of those around me and assisted in making Queensland a better place to live and that made a difference in people's lives. Working in DPC has given me these opportunities.
I have been able to gain a comprehensive understanding of how government operates on a daily basis. It has been highly rewarding to be involved in areas that work closely with the Cabinet and Executive Council processes and I have gained a greater insight into the inner workings of government that many people would never get the chance to experience.
