    Public Interest Disclosure (PID) Procedure

    This document:

    • supports and maintains the high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet
    • demonstrates the department’s commitment to developing, implementing and maintaining a management program for Public Interest Disclosures (PIDs) and ensuring effective compliance with legislation and policy
    • assists employees and others to understand their rights and responsibilities in reporting fraudulent or corrupt behaviour or making a PID under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 (Qld) (PDF, 464 KB)
    • outlines the legislative provisions and departmental procedures in place to protect any person who makes a PID (discloser) or is the subject of a PID.

    A Public Interest Disclosure may be submitted in the same way as other complaints regarding the department. Visit complaints and compliments for more information.
